Women’s Sport in Worcester

In collaboration with Worcester City Women’s FC and Warriors Women, this event will feature several football and rugby Drill Zones, providing a unique opportunity for young players to practice their skills, make new friends and enjoy the sport.

Worcester City Women’s FC and Warriors Women have assembled a team of experts who are passionate about sharing their knowledge and experience with young players.

The youngest of visitors can enjoy the dedicated Toddler Training Zone, with age-appropriate activities that will keep them engaged and happy.

During the Drill Zone breaks, the young players will get the chance to interact with their favourite players, snap a selfie and get an autograph. They can also participate in exciting activities such as Rodeo Rugby, the well-known ‘Beat the Goalie’ & ‘Keepy Uppy Challenge’ and other outdoor games.

What’s the Drill?

Child ticket holders will have the opportunity to play with the pros on the iconic Sixways Stadium Pitch. The pitch will be divided – football one side &  rugby the other. Who’s side are you on?!

Over 45 minutes, take part in three different Drill Zones with fellow players and learn new skills and techniques from the pros.
Players will be split into age groups of 5-8 years, 9-12 years and 13-16 years old. Every participant will receive a congratulatory medal and goody bag.

Family Fest 2023 Tickets must be purchased for all participants before selecting a Drill Zone time slot. Each Drill Zone will be led by at least 2 players and / or DBS cleared coaches. Parents are invited to watch from the West Stand and side lines.
